Quick Start Guide – Reporting Suite
Download installer tool
Note: Normaly you need max. 60 secounds for installation.
Download the Installer Tool from here and click on “Reporting Suite” Extension for Qlik Sense
In the background we save the download file in your app directory from the user profil like this: “C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Analyticsgate”
- Service-User: mostly the samem user for qlik services
- Qlik-User: one of your user that have admin rights on Qlik Sense
- Qlik Share: directory where is your Qlik Sense installed on
- Qlik Sense url: https://your.qliksense.domain

Recommend! Please install our extension: “on-Demand” and “Management Console”
Optional! You can install our example qlik apps with excel reporting files

After hit on “Install / Update” You will see command console running like this:
If you see errors like “red, orange, pink color the installation process will be stopped.

Add Security Rules
User ca see him self: Add this rule so the user get himself in QRS API calls`s
Recommended: These settings are for the HUB distribution.
If you are a normal Qlik user then use this security rule to allowed and distribute to HUB. Add this rule nobody can see other reports from each other. This rule allows all users to access and delete content in the Shared Content space (Reports section of Hub) that belongs to them.

Add the below value manually into the Conditions table:

Enable the user to see “SER” Tag in the qmc
Example: “!user.IsAnonymous() and (resource.id=”ABC-1234-ABC-1234-ABC-1234-ABC-1234” or resource.id=”ABC-1234-ABC-1234-ABC-1234-ABC-1234“)”
If want to use automation of reporting please add this rules in Qlik Sense “AG_Scheduler” and “AG_SharedContent ”
