Chart to Image

With the Chart to Image function, you can insert a Qlik Chart as an image into Excel. When selections are changed, the image is reloaded to reflect the chart changed by the selections.
The ‘New’ button takes you to the properties area.

Here you can select the chart that is to be converted to an image. Additionally, you can specify the height and width of the image. Once the image has been generated, you can adjust the image size by dragging the frame in Excel. Afterward, you can request a reload of the image by right-clicking on the image and selecting ‘Update Image’. In the list of all Chart Images, you can click on the ‘Refresh Image’ icon to request a reload of the image. With the ‘Go to’ symbol the corresponding image is selected and brought into the viewing area.
With the green refresh icon, all images are reloaded.

In version 4.8.0 only a certain number of chart types are supported (see ‘Supported chart types’)
In later versions, all chart types will be supported.

Mit der Chart to Image Funktion, kann man ein Qlik Chart als Bild in Excel einfügen.
Wenn Selektionen geändert werden, wird dieses Bild neu geladen, damit es, das durch die Selektionen geänderte Chart, wiedergibt.

Über den ‘Neu’ Button gelangt man zum Eigenschaften-Bereich.
In diesem kann man das Chart auswählen, welches zu einem Bild konvertiert werden soll. Zusätzlich kann noch Höhe und Breite mitgegeben werden, die das Bild haben soll. Ist das Bild generiert, kann über Excel, durch ziehen der Rahmen, die Bildgröße angepasst werden. danach kann man mit einem Rechtsklick auf das Bild, dann über den Eintrag ‘Bild aktualisieren’, ein neu Laden des Bildes anfordern.
In der Liste aller Chart Images kann über das Aktualisieren Symbol ein neuladen des Bildes aufgerufen werden.
Mit dem ‘Gehe zu’ Symbol wird das zugehörige Bild selektiert und in den Sichtbereich gebracht.
Mit dem Grünen Aktualisieren Symbol, werden alle Bilder neu geladen.

In der Version 4.8.0 werden nur eine Bestimmte Menge an Charttypen unterstützt (siehe ‘Unterstützte Chart Typen’)
In späteren Versionen sollen alle Charttypen unterstützt werden.
